ICA’s 13th Annual Awards Breakfast
Keynote Speaker: Kristin Groos-Richmond & Kirsten Saenz Tobey, Co-Founders of Revolution Foods

The ICA Annual Awards Breakfast has become such a marquis event in the Bay Area and recognized nationally, that in 2009, President Bill Clinton delivered a personal address via video during the event extolling the work of ICA in helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses and for building thriving inner city communities.
This year’s Keynote Speakers will be Kristin Groos-Richmond & Kirsten Saenz Tobey, Co-Founders of Revolution Foods. Revolution Foods is an Oakland-based company and an ICA Portfolio Company that has grown tremendously over the past several years. Kristin and Kirsten will highlight the company’s contributions to promoting entrepreneurship and job creation in our inner city communities in the Bay Area and throughout the country. Kristin, who was recently appointed by President Obama to his White House Council for Community Solutions, will also share how she and Kirsten set out to revolutionize how schools look at providing healthier food choices to our children.
"Once again, we look forward to celebrating the vital role that creative and committed entrepreneurs play in creating a bright future for the urban Bay Area," says ICA's Executive Director, Jose Corona. "And to hear the amazing local story of our very own Revolution Foods, well, we could not have a better example of ICA's mission in action."
ICA’s Annual Awards Breakfast will bring the Bay Area business community together to celebrate the 2010 Bay Area winners of the Inner City 100— the prestigious annual list honoring the fastest growing privately held companies in America’s inner cities. Led by some of today’s most creative entrepreneurs, the Inner City 100 has shown the nation how the advantages of inner cities, such as diverse workforces and strategic locations, can combine to create fast, sustainable growth.
